Extreme Weather Events Under a Changing Climate.
Investigated extreme weather events of dust, precipitation and heat waves in order to look at how these events affect the built environment. Furthermore, produced future runs of climatic behavior and looked at future actions and precautions to be taken in building systems and design to limit these effects.
Community Earth Systems Model: To get the global resolution.
Weather Research Forecasting: scaled down to zoom into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia using WRF, in which we added the physical parameters.
We looked into forecasting weather events with a focus on extreme weather events. To investigate its impact on the urban setup and water consumption to mention a few.
Changes in surface air temperature in November across different years and the same for March.
To better analyze the current advancements and develop a comprehensive understanding of the effects of our work, we are building a modeling and simulation testbed of the state of the art warehouse. Furthermore, through this approach, we are able to detect bottlenecks, recommend different policies and technologies.
