Interdisciplinary curriculum

In summer 2016, I took a summer internship at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). The King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) is a new world-class postgraduate research university located in Saudi Arabia globally attracting top STEM field faculty and student talent.

In this research I was working on studying the the potential of micro CT scan and to Develop a non destructive method for determining age at death of adults using their teeth. The research was led by Prof. Gilles Lubineau and Dr. Laurence Hapiot, an archaeologist at KAUST.

I was able to work with many archaeologists and help with my leadership skills, and mechanical engineering knowledge to deliver a very advanced research project results .

It was very tough experience, but it had shaped my skills in team work with people from different majors and work in a different fields. Very unique, very interesting!
